Statfold Barn Railway is a Train Museum situated just outside Tamworth in Staffordshire. The Statfold Trust was established to renovate and preserve narrow gauge rolling stock and is home to one of the largest private collections of historic steam, diesel and electric locomotives from the UK and overseas. Although the railway is not open to the public a number of “Enthusiasts’ Days” are held each year and the space is available for private events. PDC were commissioned to install two new staircases to the existing mezzanine. The stair treads and mezzanine area were covered with a durable luxury oak vinyl plank. The balustrades and handrails were installed in stunning brushed satin chrome with glass infills, the same style was fitted in the main entrance as well as the mezzanine viewing platform. Between each section PDC also installed stylish contemporary glass doors, each etched with the company branding.
